invites: liz&mike wedding
Finally, I'm posting photos of the invites that I've done for my friends, Liz and Mike! :)
The invite design has a cutout of the couple's names in front, plus a window to show a silhouette of the couple.
This is how the two-fold invite looks like on the inside.
And this is how the back part looks like. As the invite has three panels per side, I used the back part to put the RSVP numbers, as well as other details for the event (attire, reserved seats, etc.). The original design had a map, too, but the couple thought of having it printed on a separate sheet of paper, so the map details are big enough to read.
And lastly, some detail shots. :) I love how the invites looked after they were die-cut, and stacked together.
The wedding colors were autumn colors, thus the red oranges and yellows. Liz gave me the liberty to design as I pleased, just as long as the colors I used were in line with their motif. Thankfully, the couple liked it, and so now, the invite design has become their basis for the whole wedding's look.
Here are a few photos of the invites.

This is sort of the before and after photo. The cream envelope was supposed to be chocolate brown, to give the invites a richer autumn look. Alas, the paper companies here only have limited color options for envelopes, so we just opted for a cream one, and added a chocolate brown envelope liner instead.
